The disappointing first fit
It is annoying to buy a mount and discover that your everyday case gets in the way. List the phone, case and intended mounting position before comparing products. A photograph of another car cannot settle that combination for you.
Holding and charging are different jobs
A mount may hold a phone without charging it. A charging version has its own phone, case and power requirements. Belkin distinguishes these features in its range. Read the complete product specification instead of treating a magnetic label as a promise that every function will work.
Check everything while parked
Review the maker’s vehicle and surface guidance and avoid positions that obstruct visibility, controls or safety equipment. Confirm the fit and cable route while stationary. Do not adjust or test a mount while driving. We have not tested retention or charging performance on a model here.
Compare the complete setup
Check included accessories and any required power supply before comparing prices. If an existing setup already works safely and conveniently, a new charging feature may not justify replacement. Choose for the exact combination you will use every day.

Method: check the exact phone, case, mounting surface, cable and required power supply as one setup while parked. A model’s listed compatibility is not a road test. We did not test retention, charging speed or suitability in any particular vehicle.

Measure the full setup before choosing a mount
Include the case, controls and cable in the fit check.
Measure the phone with the case you actually use. Compare that width and thickness with the mount’s stated range, then check whether the clamp would press a button or cover a connector. For a hypothetical daily setup, write down where the charging cable will run and whether the phone can be inserted without moving a vent or another control. A listed screen size alone cannot answer those questions.
Judge usability while the vehicle is safely parked.
Check the vehicle handbook and applicable local rules before selecting a mounting position. The holder must not obstruct your view, controls or an airbag area. Test insertion, removal and cable clearance while parked; do not adjust a new setup while driving. A secure-looking photograph is not evidence that the mount suits your dashboard or case.
